Shoot..no wonder the song was familiar. On visiting my homegirl's myspace page..I took the time to listen to the song seeing his name and having seen it pop up in so many places around OKP I had always wondered what the deal was.

I feel like a kid who just stumbled onto ghostbusters after everyone and their papa had worn out t-shirts, backpacks and other such memorabilia.

Speaking of ghostbusters maaan...I do miss seeing all the toys, coloring books etc. Those were the days..which brings me to another thought: why the heck do I miss those days so?

I dunno am I the only one that sometimes wishes he was 5 again? Gosh am I that old? I can't be..I'm still on shave-the-age campaign. I'll be accepting signees and participants in my comment box. So please ppl feel free to participate freely.

When God grooms you..the results are AMAZE-ING!

Spiritually, physically, mentally, socially, psychologically..I've been blessed to experience this wonderful phenomenon of life. Albeit, attimes it is painful, the process that is but the results are out of this world.

What sparked this blog entry was a small conversation between I and B-Live 1/2 of our hip hop group Plussign (hey, be on the lookout for the music). As I was receiving and listening to songs we worked on last night we just got to talking about how much we've grown musically/artistically/creatively since we first met back in 2003. To me, we've made so many leaps and bounds it certainly is astonishing. I listen to the music from the mixtape Music for Agony hosted by DJ Fusion and to say I'm awed at how God has caused me to improve would be an understatement really.

I'm very appreciative of all those (some of whom visit this blog ever so often) that I've been blessed to be put on their path and likewise mine. Whom have given me advice, encouragement and comfort when I needed it. I admit I am somewhat of a perfectionist though God is helping me deal with this aspect..and I'm learning to take things easy..I used to have such astronomical expectations (not that that is a bad thing necessarily) of ppl, places and or things. So much so I'd get depressed, fall into self-pity and gloom just because something or someone didn't do or work out the way I planned. I still do this attimes but it gets better - HALLELUJAH!

So yeah..the new songs are DOPE (in my opinion) and I am proud of each and every work of art God uses me to let out into the world. It is my prayer and hope that each song, poem, article or essay and even blog shared helps make your day and life better in some shape, form or fashion..
