Are the Bears who we thought they were????!!!

The inconsistency of Sexy Rex?

Or the lack of the willingness to run in the open field when running lanes were opened due to defenders covering Windy City receivers?

What about the absence of Tommie Harris?

Or more blitzing we could've seen from the defense?

A better mix of cover 2 and the blitz perhaps?

Or the darned un-sexy turnovers?

Kudos to the Indianapolis Colts, the win for Tony Dungy which makes a very bold and loud statement in today's white privileged society but most esp. a love for Christ that knew no boundaries or limitations when it came right down to it.

Yeah and to archie's boy, you finally got the monkey off your back, you still ain't the g.o.a.t qb

...win a couple more..till then Brady still got you all in check, WOO-HAH!

But to bring it all back to where I think it's most important as far as opinions of people, teams, coaches, schemes and whatnot go a salient point I feel I ought to share is this...

In a day and age where opinions rule blogs, bulletin and message boards, internet news wires, radio, tv and even ipods (HA!), often times the media or rather ppl who are part of the media can sway public opinion on a person or celebrity depending on what facts they choose to present or not present. Messages are put out there that may or may not be fully/truthfully representative of that person's life, lifestyle, persona or character. It therefore is important for us as people not to get caught up in 'hype' or more importantly let others opinions of us affect the vision God has given us. We've all been created to do something in this world. Not all of us will be bound or destined for the World Cup or Superbowl, or the Oscars or even the Grammy's but one thing is certain we have a purpose that is individually unique to each and every one of us.

So unique is this purpose that God has blessed us with specific capabilities unlike any other human being, that is why we are different from one another and gifted in such ways.

Bottomline? Never let someone's opinion of you become the yardstick for the definition of your person. Don't let a consensus by a group of ppl however off-base, take you out of your zone and cause you to constantly bicker or writhe in emotional pain over and over again so much so you call your folks up to say things like, "do you know what so and so said about me?"

It's not worth your time. The only thing that truly matters is what God has said about you in His Word via the Bible. Read it today and discover who you truly are!
