Nothing can really prep you for it.

It's a different world.

Replete with its own lingo, way of life, culture, activities, you name it. What's interesting in my adaptation to it is I *understand* I don't really buy into the superficial conversations (well at least to me they are superficial). I've always believed in connecting with people on every level, connections that extend into allowing ppl in to your life to impact it positively.

But corp america? It's about the bottom-line at the end of the day. Sure everyone seems kumbaya, let's all get-together for coffee and doughnuts or tea and biscuits (not the southern version, the english one) but underneath it all to me tho, its one big facade.

A huge *must-ack-right* so as not to tick off the next man a.k.a your boss or whomever. I mean why does one HAVE to learn golf in order to achieve upward mobility in a company? (truss, I've been told you have to). Part of me has been like, "theheck do i need to learn something i don't wanna learn?" BUUT

I understand it all
